Excited to be back posting and look forward to a entertaining 2017 MLS season. Here is to a postive season.

Portland Timbers v. MN United.

I believe this is a pretty obvious call, which worries me a little. Portland has offense in them and have had issues with defense (53 goals against was worst in the Western Conf. last season). The MN head man prefers a end to end style of play as shown in Orlando. I am thinking it will take a few matches for United to build cohesion and communication with each other - making for mistakes and goals early in their season. I look for the Timbers to dominate play and stuff in some goals and with the defensive struggles they have had with a hectic style for MN I look for the Loons to put one or two in themselves.

1-0 (+1.05) Week 2. I will be backing Toronto FC. Looking at last weeks matches I saw more quality in TFC than I did in Philly. I don't feel that Philly looked that good nor did they create chances - feel they were lucky to get the draw. Toronto on the other hand looked good to me and should have gotten a better result than the draw. That is just what I seen, looking at history the last 5 matches has seen TFC win 4 and draw once against Philly. Toronto FC PK (-1.35) 1.35 to 1.00.Good luck and enjoy your weekend.
